AASP/UNB Safety Program Tuition Giveaway

Wanting to further your education in Occupational Health & Safety?

AASP is pleased to offer the AASP/UNB Safety Program Tuition Giveaway!

 

The deadline to submit the entry form is October 31, 2023!

The Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships (AASP) and the University of New Brunswick College of Extended Learning (UNB CEL) are committed to Occupational Health and Safety education in the workplace and beyond.

UNB CEL and the AASP have partnered to provide one member of the AASP community free tuition to enrol in UNB’s online Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety program (a retail value of $6,545).

The prize winner will be announced in late November 2023.

 

 

Eligibility

All AASP members who currently work or are interested in the Occupational Health and Safety field can enter into the contest. To be eligible for the AASP/UNB Safety Program Tuition Giveaway, the individual must work for an organization that is a member in good standing of AASP.

How to enter

Entrants must complete and submit the online entry form, outlining their interests and aspirations for a career in management as well as any positive contributions and/or demonstrated leadership they may have in their organization or beyond.

Selection process

Representatives from the University of New Brunswick will review all submissions and select the recipient.

Submission deadline

The deadline to submit the entry form is October 31, 2023, at 11:59 pm Mountain Time.

Nancy Fedyniak, CRSP, ROHT

Nancy Fedyniak has been a health and safety professional and a leader for over 15 years. She is also the owner and president of Higher Standards Occupational Health and Safety Ltd., a consulting company in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta dedicated to designing Health and Safety, Emergency Response, Commercial Vehicle, Environment and Security programs to meet client’s individual needs and provide strategies to implement these programs in a way that positively impacts the business’s culture and image. Her company provides many other occupational health and safety services, with the ultimate desire to change the way that businesses think about safety culture and improving the standard for “world class.” She is thrilled to take advantage of this training opportunity to enhance her leadership skills and succeed in her endeavors.
