AGM & Conference 2022

2022 has been another challenging year for everyone. A year with continued global change full of challenges both professionally and personally. As a population, we continue to experience the effects and the uncertainty of what has been happening in our society and our economy as we try to get back to what we perceive as some semblance of normal. The AASP has been implementing revisions in our training materials, covering the changes to both Provincial Legislation and Partnerships Standards which were finalized in December 2021 and also in June 2022, respectively. All changes are to be fully implemented by employers no later than January 1, 2023.

It is times like these that have taught us resilience, but also demonstrate our need for having tools readily available to maintain our mental health and sustainability. This year’s conference has been designed to provide new insights on how to maintain our mental health while building sustainability into our health and safety management systems.

Not only will we focus on understanding how to maintain our mental health, but also how to recognize what is happening all around us every day to enable our OHSM System to function to it’s full potential.

With the continued presence of COVID-19 and its variants, this will be the third AGM and Conference held as a Zoom Virtual Webinar. Although restrictions have eased, we want to ensure our members are protected and stay informed at the same time.

We hope to return to Live Conferences for 2023.
