KNOWLEDGE AND COMMUNICATION
Keys to Sustainable Change
September 21st & 22nd, 2023
Registration is now closed
This event will take place in-person at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino in Calgary.
Health and Safety culture has experienced an evolution, especially in the last three years. What was once recognized by many as a strict focus on compliance, quickly shifted to the emergent need for better Mental Health Advocacy. This year, with our selection of speakers, we hope to unite these ideas in an effort to return to the basics of Health and Safety, and foster an environment of commitment to due diligence, which is the heart and soul of Health and Safety. Our ultimate goal is to produce a safer work environment in every way through proper knowledge and communication at all levels.
Following the changes made to Provincial and Federal Legislation, as well as to Partnerships Standards, the AASP has been actively updating our training materials to keep our membership informed and on the leading edge. This year’s conference has been designed to provided attendees with a review of all of the updated information to ensure employers and employees alike never lose sight of the laws that govern how business and Health and Safety are managed in Alberta.
Our focus this year is to ensure everyone has the knowledge to effectively meet legislative compliance, and the ability to communicate how to maintain and continuously improve upon the acceptable standard.
The entire AASP team is eager to see you again in-person at our 2023 AGM and Conference “Knowledge and Communication: Keys to Sustainable Change”.
We hope to provide you with an exciting couple of days of interactive experiences where we can learn together from our knowledgeable line-up of speakers, and gain experience from one another through workshop activities and networking.
